Our story: how we pivoted our first scrappy start-up to become the French leaders of a new market in less than a year, all while still studying.

January 2023:
With Raphaël and Alexandre, we launch Disway.io (a Tinder for finding great restaurants).
We code the app, launch it, make TikToks, and quickly acquire thousands of active users.

But we had no business model, and above all, we were not meeting the needs of our customers: great restaurants.

November 2024:
We ask ourselves a simple question:
What is the common problem for all great restaurants?

They miss a lot of calls.

So we build an intelligent messaging solution to save missed bookings and reply to every customer.

We recode everything.

April 2025:
We find testers and launch.
It crashes, we fix it.
It crashes less, we fix it again.
We check the logs: it works perfectly.

All the testers are happy and talk about it around them.
“It’s changed our lives,” they tell us.
The signs are good—we’ve got something here.

August 2025:
I leave my finance role, and Raph and Alex give me free rein on strategy.

It takes time, but it works.

September: 16 clients.
Today: more than a hundred.

Répondia becomes the benchmark solution used by Les Airelles, Annie Famose, Indie Group, and many others.

We win 100% of our tenders against much larger players, and we equip almost every restaurant we demo to.

Major American and French groups with operations worldwide are launching pilots right now.

The road is still long, but it goes to show that even after an initial failure, you can always bounce back.
